Grandpa's Good Idea

Caleb was having an Oscar the Grouch morning, so Bud came up with a plan. He said we should take Caleb over to the fun center (I don't know the name of the place) within the movie theater over by Hales Centre Theatre and take him on the rides over there. Then we could get some lunch while we were out.
It was hard to get Caleb to cooperate because he wanted to wear his sock on his hand instead of his foot. I overcame that obstacle by getting one of my socks for his hand so I could put his sock on his foot.
Once we got to the place, we found out it was closed for operation until 4PM. Turned out that was for the best anyway. It would have cost about $2.50 to buy a ticket for the Merry-go-round. We'd have gladly paid the money, but I don't think Caleb would have enjoyed the ride. We set him on the horse for the photo-op, and at first he was fine with it, but then decided it wasn't something he thought he should like, so he wanted off. "Mommy, upadaisy please?" is all he would say.

So it was a good thing the Carousel wasn't actually moving! We'll try again on another day and see if he likes it better after he's 2 (because...a week will make a big difference?).
Then we went to Red Robin for lunch. We had a good time there but I'm going to save those pictures for another day. Grandpa is going to babysit Caleb while he is napping (Caleb, not Grandpa) so Mommy and Nana can go to the store to gather supplies for a birthday project that has us both stressed out! Does anyone out there know how to sew stuff?

Nora really wants to go to Red Robin when we are in UT. For some reason it is her favorite restaurant ever (after John's Incredible Pizza).
