Which of the following pictures of mine do you think I should use? The room it's going in is mostly red (a deep red) and green (a mossy green), currently decorated with nature-type pictures, and a couple pictures of barns.
• 1- Sacred Grove
• 3- A rose at Universal Studios, FL.
• 4- Crystal Springs, near Midway, UT.
• 5- Sacred Grove (again)
Pick your favorite and let me know. If you don't comment, I'll assume you think they're all lame and I should go back to my iPhoto library and search for something else.
Not included in the voting, but something that made me happy last week- three remarkable sunsets. Here's a picture of two of them.
The picture above was taken while driving. Not to worry, I wasn't the driver. Cheryl was driving and she kept looking at the sunset. There was a significant amount of traffic around us (freeway driving) so I stuck the camera in front of her and snapped this shot, and told her to just drive.
This sunset was a couple days earlier. We were almost finished working that day. Bud told me to come look out the window. I did and saw such beautiful colors that I grabbed my purse camera and after figuring out what settings Mia had changed on it (it was in her hands last!) I turned off the black and white setting and took this picture. What good is a sunset if it's shot in black and white?
And finally, being too lazy to cook "real" dinner last night (for some reason that is happening a lot these days) we had a can of soup and a quesadilla. Yep. Needless to say, I was not fully satisfied when my dinner was finished. Therefore, I decided it was the right night to try some popcorn.

I put some regular ol' popcorn (about 1/4 cup) into a regular ol' paper bag (thanks for the bag, Cheryl!). I folded the top of it over twice and laid it flat in the microwave. I pressed the popcorn button and watched it (or listened to it) for about 90 seconds. I poured a little melted butter over the popcorn, gave it a sprinkle of salt and I was set!
Except I needed something warm and delicious to drink with the popcorn.
When I was in St. George, I tried a cup of this. Pumpkin Spice- sounds tasty, right? Wrong! It was lousy! However, I couldn't just throw it away! I thought I'd give it one more try and for whatever reason, this time I loved it! *LOVED* it! I have no idea what the difference was between the first cup and the second, but I'm glad I didn't throw it out! 
Except I needed something warm and delicious to drink with the popcorn.
So, after the popcorn and yummy melted pumpkin pie drink Stephen's Pumpkin Spice drink I was satisfied.

I like the last sacred grove picture, but I'm a sucker for a good winding road.
Yeah, of those choices, the last sacred grove is the best.
But none of them ooze personality to me. So if that's what you're going for, then go ahead with the last one.
How are we supposed to vote without knowing which wall and hence whether a vertical or horizontal photo would be better?
Also, you have extremely cute grandkids. Who often venture into nature. Which makes for way cuter pictures than nature by itself. Just saying.
Karen, it's the wall that is opposite the window well. The wall with the light switch. And since it's a guest room and since different kids come to stay, they'd be bugged if it wasn't THEIR kid on the wall. Hence, generic.
I am really having a hard time choosing, the last sacred grove one is a beautiful nature shot BUT it doesn't bring the sacred grove to my mind like the first sacred grove one does. So either of those for a vertical canvas. If the shape of the wall needs a more horizontal, the pictures of the rose would be stunning on a canvas especially if it is a gallery wrapped (over the edges).
Wylie, yes it is gallery wrapped. The wall can handle either direction in my opinion.
I like #5 too, although I agree with others, it doesn't speak "sacred grove" necessarily, but I like the path inviting me into the picture.
I don't think I'm necessarily going for a "sacred grove" feeling. It's just listed as where the photo is taken.
I decided to keep in mind the colors you were going to have in the room. I loved all of the pictures. But I wanted to have my decision made before I would see other people's comments and choices! It seems it is a majority - my choice is also #5. I love them all tho!

I am posting this before I read any of the other comments. My first impression is #2 but I kind of like 5 as well. #2 is my favorite for sure.
I tried the popcorn too. I just had to know it could be done!
I would NEVER even try that nasty looking drink. Yuck!

Jenny- you make me laugh out loud, more than any other person! I love your opinions! I thought the drink was nasty the first time too, but that second time changed my mind. And it was perfect with the popcorn.
My vote is number 4, I love pictures with water.
I like #2 very much. It is very peaceful and serene. These are all very beautiful pictures.
My second choice is #4. It reminds me of a wall mural we used to have at our house on Iowa St. in R/C.
Also, I have many times cooked popcorn in a brown paper bag, but my recipe was for caramel corn. It is soo good and soo easy! And I love Pumpkin!

Since you didn't listen to me the first time and you insist on being politically correct...
Buy four pictures and rotate them based on who is visiting you, leaving the cutest picture up when nobody is visiting you. No claims as to who the cutest would be...
I'm a sucker for dirt paths winding through trees, so I'm voting #5. The first sacred grove picture is my second choice.
I like the first sacred grove picture best but really do love them all. Don't think you can go wrong with any of them!
