Of the towel animals made for us on our cruise, these were the most creative.

Those are just my guesses. Tell me if you think differently. We spent a lot of time playing this game of LynnEl's, called Five Straight. I didn't win often, but it was fun anyway.

This was probably the fastest game played. Five in a row, just like that!

Quebec, The Evening

During our little tour around Quebec, the bus stopped at not only the candy store, but also a copper factory/store where we saw how this guy used to make fabulous stuff out of copper. He's no longer living, but when we get to the Basilica in a few pictures, he was the guy chosen to do the doors there. We also went to a little bakery. What do these places do for customers if the buses aren't stopping by with tourists? Hey Buddy!

Back to the little area near the ship, while the others were getting ready for dinner, I snuck back out for a few more night photos. This is another painted mural on a building.

They did a good job dressing up the town for Halloween.

Quebec, The Country

In the afternoon, we drove out to the countryside.

We stopped at a chocolate candy store. I think the store pays the tour company a little something to bring in a busload of "customers." Just my opinion.

These are the stairs you use if you want to down to the base of the falls. We didn't. Nice rainbow from the spray of the falls.

Quebec, The City

This was the sight that greeted us from the ship when we arrived in Quebec (and just so you can say it correctly, you should say Kibbeck, not Qwa-bec. Yes, I always said it wrong until I went there).

The building at the top of the hill is Le Chateau Frontenac. It's a hotel.

I loved the look of the streets and shops.

Below is the Plains of Abraham. Google it. It'll be faster than my explanation.

A little Halloween fun (we were there on Oct. 25)

Spooky ghosts! They were tall.

This guy was not only selling CD's but also selling permission to let you take a picture of you with his dogs. I just took a picture of the dogs without me in it. Saved a buck or two that way.

This guy was also selling CD's. $20 for 15 songs.

This guy wasn't selling anything! I liked him best!

We saw a lot of buildings that were painted with murals. Some were really cool. This one was on a hospital.

This is the most famous fresco in Quebec (did you say it right?). I chopped off the very top in this photo, but you'll see another shot of it tomorrow. It shows all the seasons of the year.
